2009-02-27 Update: 3G and debian - Back in september I added an article on using a 3g dongle with Debian I have now updated the article to include using the Nokia 6220 Classic as a modem under Debian.

2008-09-30 New Article: Hammocks Finally got around to finishing the Hammocks page. Enjoy.

2007-05-31 I now have quixotic.eu as a domain. Which fits nicely in with my slighly more mobile, euro centric lifestyle these days. So soon I will transfer the branding of the site more towards quixotic.eu rather than quixotic.org.uk

2007-03-19 I have been making updates to my garden section regularly (Although I don't list all these updates here), however I have added a new page to the garden section detailing my ongoing project to add some greenery to a balcony in amsterdam. Take a look Here

2007-01-23 My Photos are back online. Now the bulk of the historic ones are here, now I can add all the others I have taken since they went down. Enjoy.

2007-01-20: First update of a new year. I hope to get the photos all back online this week. I have also removed the auto amazon adverts from the left hand side. They had a zero hit rate, so I thought I would remove them. I have been working on some new content, which will appear in the coming weeks. As always, updates are always happening on my Projects

2006-12-27: Added an Article on configuring dnsmasq for use with LTSP Here.

2006-12-21: No major updates, I have added some Photos of Canterbury Cathedral in the fog the other day. Still most of my photos remain offline. I hope to get them back online in the coming week. I have also added some updates to the Bike Trailer page. Enjoy.

2006-11-21: Nothing massive, my photos are still offline, however a few updates are appearing on the Diary for my garden.

2006-11-15: I am triallying some targetted ads from amazon, hopefully they should appear as relatively subtle links below the menu on the left. I am going to trial these for a month, and see how I get on. If you have any feedback to give, please email me on the usual address.

2006-11-04: Due to hardware issues the photo section is largely offline, I will get this back asap. In the mean time, there are some more bits added to the backpacking Equipment page. I have also been continueing to update the Diary for my garden.

2006-09-30: Reviewed a few more bits of kit over on the Backpacking Equipment page.

2006-09-25: Added some more photos to the Garden Diary section. I have also manage to get some of the google webmaster tools working. Which is how I discovered that quixotic.org.uk is the first google hit for my name. Hurrah!

2006-09-25: Added a few more entries into the Diary for my Garden. Also added a few photos to this section.

2006-09-21: Have reduced the list of changes on the main index to only show the last 6 changes, and have moved a full and complete list to here.

2006-09-20: Today finally saw the end of content hosted on my old server, all content is now hosted on te.quixotic.org.uk, and not on tao. I also took the oppotunity to setup custom error pages, and regigged the css for the site. Cookie to the first person to notice what the change is I made. I have also added a link to stats. Like the cgi-bin this is password protected, sorry. Interestingly so far this month some 45000+ hits have happened, scarily over 10000 of those are 404 not found. And looking through the logs, it appears most of these 10000 are auto bot things trying to find known buggy php scripts. Bah! Anyway, enjoy.

2006-09-19: Updated my Garden section with more diary entries. I have also split the page up into two pages, one for my diary, and one about what I am growing.

2006-09-11: Have added another tip to the Backpacking Advice page.

2006-09-08: Have migrated from the old design to the new one. Not all the content has moved and alot of the photos haven't been moved across. But its getting there. Over the next week or so, the remainder of the content will arrive. Due to a few stale DNS records, there may be errors with cyclic redirects for a about 24 hours while the DNS settles down.

2006-09-03: Started uploading some Photos to the Photography section. I am still working on the gallery script behind this, so this area should be considered unstable and changeable.

2006-09-01: Added Backpacking advice, and my Packing list to the Backpacking Section.

2006-08-27: Moved Projects over. Slowly getting there

2006-08-07: Have moved over the backpacking stuff, and updated the bit about me. Have started planning the gallery. Will move things slowly, but surely.
